Launch of Saint Nicholas Children’s Trust

The launch of Saint Nicholas Children’s Trust (the Trust) took place at Trafalgar Square in Nelson on Saturday 8^th February 2025. The Trust Chair (Angela Francis), the Mayor of Nelson (Hon Nick Smith) and two members of Parliament (Greg Fleming, MP and Rachel Boyack, MP) spoke. There was overwhelming support with over 40 attending and taking part in the silent march. Supporters wore masks to symbolise the children who are sexually exploited without the ability to speak up for themselves, which the Trust aims to do on their behalf.
